Parents walking around the farm
Parents had a great time walking to Mudchute Farm today. 14 parents came along and walked more than an hour as Mudchute is quite a long way away from Poplar.
When we got to the farm parents became quite excited to see different types of farm animals. We spent some time to look around and tried to name them in our own languages. That was quite fun as parents were coming up with different names which some of us heard for the first time.

I realized how much everyone were enjoying themselves and decided to organise a 'Big Walk Challenge from Poplar to Mudchute Farm/Park' for families during the Easter Holidays. When asked for everyone's views, they also thought it would be nice to come back with the children.
It seemed like most parents got carried away and forgot the time, so they had to be reminded as we were getting late. Asda is right next to the farm, so some parents stayed behind to do their shopping while the rest of us walked back home.
